SEBI Officer Grade A Vacancy 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Here are the detailed educational qualifications required for each stream under SEBI Officer Grade A Recruitment 2025 (as of November 28, 2025):
General Stream:
- Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum 2 years) in any discipline, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, OR
- Professional qualifications such as CA / CFA / CS / Cost Accountant.
Legal Stream:
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute.
Information Technology (IT) Stream:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a Post Graduate qualification (minimum 2 years) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or Information Technology.
Research Stream:
- Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum 2 years) in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.

Official Language Stream:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s level, OR
- Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi as a subject at the Bachelor’s level.
Engineering (Electrical) Stream:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Engineering (Civil) Stream:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Note:
Candidates appearing in their final year examinations are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce their final mark sheets or degree certificates at the time of the interview.
